Our Team
Zac Sorensen
Director and Financial Planner
Authorised representative and credit representative of AMP
Zac holds a Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
Zac has been part of the banking and finance industry his entire working life. He initially worked for several years at a regional building society, working his way up to a branch management position. In late 2001, Zac was recruited into a new financial planning business started within the society which led him to complete financial planning studies and he was subsequently promoted to Senior Financial Adviser.
Zac joined Value Plus Financial Services in early 2008 and in January 2010 purchased the business from its previous owner.
While he advises across a range of financial planning areas, Zac has a particular interest in the over 55 segment, and enjoys assisting people who are retired or making the transition to retirement.
Judy Harte
Compliance & Marketing
Judy has worked for AMP aligned businesses for over 25 years, and has been involved in the running of her family business for over 40 years. This has enabled Judy to gain a vast array of knowledge on both our industry products and processes. She also understands the complex challenges faced by businesses.
Judy is responsible for the compliance within the practice and ensures all advice is delivered and implemented efficiently. She also manages ongoing client relationships and enjoys communicating with them on a regular basis.
Judy’s business acumen combined with her organisational skills make her a valuable asset to the advice team.
Sandra Black
Office Administrator
Sandra has worked for Value Plus for over 10 years and prior to that has many years’ experience in administration.
Sandra is responsible for liaising with our product providers and ensuring all recommendations for our clients are completed correctly.
Along with Judy, Sandra is also responsible for the management of client relationships and is usually the first person you will speak to if you call or visit our office. Many clients compliment Sandra for her friendly demeanour and efficient service.
